Product Description
Agarose is a linear polymer with a basic structure consisting of long chains alternately connected by 1,3 linked β - D-galactose and 1,4 linked 3,6-ether L-galactose. Agarose is generally heated to more than 90 ℃ to dissolve in water, and forms a good semi-solid gel when the temperature drops to 35-40 ℃. It is often used for daily nucleic acid analysis by gel electrophoresis or imprinting (such as Northern or Southern).
The new agarose developed by Li Ji Biotechnology can separate DNA fragments ranging from 500bp to 2300bp, without DNase, RNase, and Protease. TAE or TBE are often used as electrophoresis solutions. In the process of agarose gel electrophoresis, appropriate agarose concentration and electrophoresis buffer should be selected according to the molecular weight of the nucleic acid to be separated, so as to improve the resolution of nucleic acid molecules. For large molecular weight nucleic acid electrophoresis, a smaller gel is required, and for small molecular weight nucleic acid electrophoresis, a larger gel is required. When the resolution requirement is not high, both TAE and TBE buffer solutions can be used; When high resolution is required, it is recommended to use TAE for high molecular weight nucleic acids; TBE is recommended for small molecular weight nucleic acids.
