The trypan blue staining cell survival detection kit is developed based on the fact that normal healthy cells can reject trypan blue, while cells that have lost their cell membrane integrity can be stained with trypan blue. Strictly speaking, trypan blue staining detects the integrity of the cell membrane, and it is generally considered that if the cell membrane loses its integrity, it can be considered that the cell has died. After staining with trypan blue, the cell survival rate can be accurately quantified by directly counting under a microscope or by taking photos and counting under a microscope. Taipan Blue staining can be completed in just 3-5 minutes and the operation is very simple.

Transportation and storage
Transport at room temperature. Store at room temperature and avoid light, with a shelf life of 12 months.
Usage
1. Collect cells: For adherent cells, first digest the cells with trypsin and/or EDTA. For suspended cells, cells can be collected directly. Centrifuge the collected cells at 1000-2000g for 1 minute, discard the supernatant, and resuspend the cells with 1ml or appropriate cell resuspension according to the amount of cells.
2. Trypan blue staining: Transfer 100 μ l of resuspended cells into a centrifuge tube, add 100 μ l of trypan blue staining solution (2 ×), gently mix, and stain for 3 minutes (3 minutes is sufficient, but the staining time can be longer and should not exceed 10 minutes).
3. Counting: Take a small amount of stained cells and count them using a hemocytometer. Usually, if precise quantification is required, at least 500 cells per cell sample should be counted, including blue cells and the total number of cells.
