Product Description
DMEM/F-12 medium is a modified mixture of DMEM and Ham's F-12 medium in a 1:1 ratio. The improved DMEM/F-12 medium is more nutritious and contains more trace elements. It is widely used for the cultivation of various mammalian cells, as well as for the cultivation of mammalian cells at low serum levels and clone density. DMEM/F-12 is also used as a basic medium for developing serum-free culture media.
This product contains various amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, and other ingredients required for cell culture. It does not contain proteins or growth factors and needs to be supplemented with 5-10% serum or serum-free additives according to the type of cell.
