Product Description
Chloroform substitute is a type of chloroform substitute, which is a mixture of various low toxicity organic compounds. However, the main components can replace chloroform in the RNA/DNA extraction process to achieve stratification, removal of pigments/proteins, and removal of phenol. The main ingredients of this product are 1-bromo-3-chloropropane and other additives.

Transportation and storage
Transport at room temperature. Store at room temperature and avoid light, with a shelf life of 24 months.
Usage method
One step RNA extraction reagent:Add 100uL chloroform substitute (instead of 200uL chloroform) to 1mL total RNA extraction kit (trizol) (item number: AN51L758) or other similar extraction reagents.
CTAB extraction reagent：Add chloroform substitute with equal volume of CTAB lysate (chloroform is also an equal volume).
Phenol extraction reagent：Add chloroform substitute with equal volume of water saturated phenol or Tris saturated phenol for extraction, and then extract with equal volume of chloroform substitute to remove residual phenol (phenol is slightly soluble in water).

1. This product is only for scientific experimental research and should not be used in clinical diagnosis, treatment, or other fields.
2. Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, rinse with plenty of flowing water, and seek medical attention.
3. Eye contact: Immediately lift the eyelids, rinse thoroughly with plenty of flowing water or saline for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention.
4. Inhalation: Quickly leave the scene and move to a place with fresh air, keeping the respiratory tract unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen; If breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration and seek medical attention.
5. Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water, drink milk or egg white, seek medical attention.
