Product Description

Amphotericin is a polyene antibiotic produced by Streptomyces nodosus M4575. Amphotericin contains two components, A and B. Component A has low toxicity and weak antifungal activity, and is not used clinically. Component B has a strong effect and is called amphotericin B. Amphotericin B is a polyene antifungal antibiotic that inhibits fungal growth by affecting cell membrane permeability. Used clinically to treat severe visceral or systemic infections caused by deep-seated fungi. This product has strong inhibitory or bactericidal effects on various fungal infections, such as Cryptococcus neoformans, Candida albicans, Clostridium perfringens, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Trichoderma, and Colletotrichum. This product is mainly used as the preferred medicine for deep fungal diseases.
